~♥~22.01.2025~♥~

Hello and welcome to my first attempt at a blog, or more accurately an incoherent ramble – which.. Is pretty standard for me at the best of times (ADHD GANG LETS GOOO), but this one’s probably going to be made worse by the fact that (after not falling asleep until nearly 2am anyway) I woke up around 4am and could NOT get back to sleep ;-;

This also means that I’ve had a cup of tea and am now on my second cup of coffee.
Does it wake me up at all? No sir it does not.
But it does make my heart do the ticky-ticky thing a fair bit quicker and I get to pretend I’ve done something useful to keep myself awake.
But on the bright side, I’m pretty sure I can taste colours right now

SO I got up and messed around trying to sort out a music player (AND LOOK MA, I SUCCEEDED! Sorta)
it’s kind of ugly but apparently html is not at all like riding a bike, I am relying HEAVILY on every tutorial I can find

BUT YEAH. DID IT.
Music player? Completed it mate

So then I decided to stop procrastinating and put the blog together that I've had vaguely outlined for the past few days but my brain has too much noodle soup to actually visualise what I’m trying to do or however thinking works.

I have no idea how/why I seem to manage to focus and get more done when I can’t sleep and my eyes feel like they’re falling out of my face.
Maybe because everyone else in the house is asleep? Who knowssss.

See, I warned you I was going to ramble.

OH. Whilst I’ve been doing the music player and then blog, I’ve also made a start on my cute and comfy colouring book (Girl Moments – Coco Wyo)
Seriously if you want some very simple cute colouring books, have a look at the Coco Wyo collection. I WANT THEM ALL

IMAGINE WHAT I COULD ACHIEVE IF I COULD KEEP THIS UP ALL DAY
But I think we all know that probably in an hour or so (it’s currently 9:15am), I’m probably going to crash and spend the rest of the day slumped in the corner crying for my bed.

I suppose I should actually do some sort of blogging here, shouldn’t I?
Although my daily life is pretty boring, so maybe my rambles are marginally more interesting.
I know that’s still not a lot, but shhh

BUT I did go to London on Saturday for my BIRTHDAYYYYY!
I’m now officially in my mid-30s, I feel so old *sob*
....also, apologies to anyone older than me reading this, I know that when I see a younger person call themselves old I feel myself shrivel xD

SO YEAH ANYWAY
LONDON BABY

It was absolutely fricken’ freezing.
But I navigated the underground which is huge for me, as I barely leave the house and am a very timid little goblin.

I didn’t go on the Millennium Eye this time (I went on it once when it first opened (I was about 10?) and that was more than enough for this life time.
I mean, the view was probably amazing, I don’t remember, but the wait to get high enough for a good view made me want to die

But you have to at least appreciate how impressed a caveman would be if he woke up today and saw this big ass wheel.

LOOKATIT

BIG INNIT?

So yeah, anyway.

WE WENT TO THE LONDON DUNGEONS *thunder clashes*
(if you’re interested, here’s the London Dungeons website)

It was very fun. The actors were all amazing and seemed to really enjoy their jobs (if I lived local I'd definitely want to be part of it). The costumes and make up were really well done, and a few were genuinely unnerving!

It was very surreal constantly going between anxiously anticipating the next jump scare and cracking up whilst the current character/host (each room has a different historical character) roasts us.

I don’t want to spoil too much, but if you ever visit London and want an abridged version of it’s history then I highly recommend!

Taking pictures and recordings inside is obviously a no-no, so unfortunately I can’t show much from that.
But I can show you Frank from the Gift Shop (which is also a bar)

10/10 would visit Frank again.

Going back to the gift shop....
THE GIFT SHOP IS AMAZING
I honestly could easily have bought 2 of everything – walking away with only 3 things was PAINFUL.
But looky looky

I got a ouija board fridge magnet and a cute bottle!
And then I got this cute bag because the bag I took with me is JUST about big enough for my wallet and phone (BUT it’s coffin shaped so...y'know.. worth it).
But yeah, he’s the cute bag I got there~

But there was sooo much in the gift shop that I was dying to bring home with me.
”visit again”? Well don’t mind if I do!
I’m pretty sure they even had actual ouija boards, but they were boxed and I didn’t want to take one out to look (a few people had, but I always worry a bit about looking dodgy, especially in gift shops xD)
Seriously though, I seem to have “one of those faces” because I always get followed around by security

But there were so many mugs, pens, note books, ornaments (and not “here’s a black note book with our logo slapped on it”, there were some seriously pretty designs).
I genuinely would have decorated my house with half the stuff they had.

After the dungeons, we went to London Aquarium, which conveniently is right next door!
IKNOWRIGHT?

So we came and we saw MANY FISHIES
Including some BIGASS SHARKS.
LOOK AT HIM

I want to love him because I know sharks are really just the... some breed of doggo that’s kinda scary looking and gets a bad rep but is actual just a big ol’ dumbass.
I’m too tired to brain.
But yeah, I’d be lying if I said I wouldn’t be absolutely shitting myself if I were swimming and saw a shark even just somewhere in the distance.
I’m sorry, sharks

We also saw some bigass turtles and some other cuties.

The aquarium also has penguins, but sadly we missed them as they get to put to bed quite early (we were there around 4pm) and the lights in their area get turned off so they can snooze in peace (totally fair enough), so all we could see was vague silhouettes in the distance.
But that just means that we’ll have to come visit again!

When we left the aquarium it was getting dark, and I realised that if not for being FAR too peopley for my liking, I could actually find London quite pleasant.

We then got the train back home again after stopping to grab sushi for the journey, obviously and died.
Well, we didn’t die OR DID WE?
But we DID complain constantly about how worn out we were and if we do that again, we should definitely consider staying in a hotel instead.

So yeah.
I actually have no idea how people end blog posts..
or anything, actually.
Even in person I will awkwardly slap my legs and say “well then” with the intention of wanting to leave soon AT LEAST 5 times before I actually escape someone’s company.
and when writing stories at school it was always “and then they woke up”
And even now, when writing actual stories and fanfiction I just.. never actually finish them...
......
Huh.
Check me out, becoming all self aware or whatever

But yeah anyway, bye~

*awkwardly side steps out the door, waving*
