Forcing myself to write a blog post because I thought
"wouldn't it be wonderful if I could write one during the damn daytime and not at some ridiculous hour of the night/morning whilst everyone else is still asleep".
I'm the only one in the house, I've got everything set up just how I normally do.
....
Any my brain is REALLY struggling to function and put sentences together.
So maybe it's not a "I need a quiet house" problem, and my brain just randomly seems to be more active at the silly hours of the morning?
There would have been a new blog post a few days ago.
I had another night where after two hours sleep I woke up and carried on laying awake for hours.
I very very almost did get up (it's quite funny actually that I lay there and think "I guess I could get up and write a blog post" rather than anything genuinely productive with my day)
But I hate how tired I feel later in the day, I don't like to go to bed hours early but I wouldn't be awake enough to do anything other than stare in to space.
So eventually after 6am I fell back to sleep again!
Although as blogging goes, it doesn't help much that I don't lead a particularly exciting life so I don't really have much exctiting to report very often.
So one blog a month is still an achievement for me >_>
So what have I been up to?
...well, not more colouring, that's for sure.
If you remember my last blog post, I said about how I'd gotten to one that could ONLY be night time/evening themed, and that I was scared of messing it up so hadn't touched it?
...
Yeah, I still haven't touched it
Hopefully next blog (so, May some time, given my track record >____> ) I'll be able to say I've been colouring again.
BUT ANYWAY
I finished rigging my vtuber model!
But I've also gave her a "debut" which means I can finally show you, hazzahhhh!
I am fully expecting to change her a lot as time goes on, but for now she'll definitely do!
I'm still not back in to streaming as regularly as I'd like, though, but it's better than a full on hiatus.
Last blog I had also started a drawing of my Embrace Durge (Baldur's Gate) but needed the ipad screen protector replacing.
Well I ended up replacing the screen protector myself, which went absolutely fine.....
.....
... but it seems that the screen protector didn't actually need replacing and that brand was just a crappy texture, as it still feels realy smooth and not very nice to draw on.
(but considering the amount of money wasted, I'm in no hurry to buy a new one from another brand - so going to try and make do... *eye twitch* )
I also still have not finished the drawing that I started (infact it's still on quite early stages).
So, first drawing of the year still isn't finished and we are now in month 4.
So much for my hope of managing at least one drawing a month ^_^'
And... yeah.
*awkwardly looks around the room for something else to talk about*
OH. GAME OF THRONES.
(Spoiler warning if you haven't watched but intend to one day)
I know, I know. It's been years. We're all gutted about the ending and no one talks about it anymore yadda yadda.
But I watched it again (I was re-watching it during my last blog post, actually).
Finished re-watching it.
And immediately started re-watching it again *cough*.
And there's things I notice that make me hate the ending more.
But it's made even worse by my sudden realisation that Sandor Clegane (The Hound) is the absolute most adorable character and no I will not elaborate further.
But yes.
He is like.... 98% of the reason for me re-watching again the very day I finished re-watching it.
But... Cleganebowl
(The "final showdown" fight between the Clegane brothers, Sandor (The Hound) and Greggor (The Mountain)).
We knew it was fanservice. And.. sure, I guess.
But watching again and realising that during the early seasons, Sandor isn't remotely hung up on the idea of getting revenge on his brother, makes me really damn bitter about it.
Sure, he hates him and holds a grudge.
Absolutely he'd enjoy watching him die, and probably would love to be the one to do it.
But.
During The Adventures of Arya and The Hound(TM) (you have to imagine it sung like a TV show title), Arya asks him what his plans are after he delivers her safetly to... well... just about anyone (I think Aunt Lysa was the goal at this point but I forget)
He has to take a moment to think about it, before saying that he'd probably become a Sell Sword and maybe join the Second Sons, leaving Westeros.
At another point, he also says that he left Kings Landing because he realised he did not want to die there.
So, naturally...
The show runners made him decide to purposely go back there, knowing damn well he would die, so he could fight his (now ridiculously super human zombie brother) that was probably going to be burried in rubble, if he just left well enough alone.
(I mean, Jaime running back was a bit disappointing too but at least it was consistent for him ;-; )
Until the re-watch, I had just accepted Cleganebowl.
But now I have to force myself to headcannon that he somehow survived the fall from the Red Keep
And he gets to go on and live a happy life
*cough*
So yeah anyway
