Okay so, I didn't expect to be good at regular blogging but I did think I'd manage more than once a month for atleast a couple of months >___> Haaaa.
But it seems that unless I've got no background noise (other than my own), my brain really struggles to do the whole sentence thing.
Even right now, someone else has the tv on in this room so my brain is just going BRRRRRRRR

What have I done since my lost blog?
.... not much.
Well, I haven't gone anywhere anyway. But that's pretty standard.

I have been getting my creative on though, somewhat >_>
"Somewhat" definitely being a keyword because I don't really entirely count either of the things I've been up to, but shhh.

But I did mention very briefly in my last blog that I'd started colouring in my "Girl Moments" book by Coco Wyo, and I've been having a lot of fun with that (even though I've been getting a bit carried away at times or a bit too overly confident in what I can do with alcohol markers (considering I've never had them before) and making a bit of a mess), BUT THIS IS HOW WE LEARN, DEBBIE.

It's surprisingly very addictive, and I keep finding myself adding another colour whenever I'm at my desk.

One of them features two girls looking out the window, and I decided to try my luck creating a galaxy scene.
Apparently the blend pen makes things a lot wetter than I anticipated because LOOOOOOOOK

So I spent ages trying to use the blender to get rid of the colour on her face but it just spread it out more.
Then I wrongly thought it would be a good idea to make her skin purple and try and just make it look like the room is dark (Pre-planning? Me? Never heard of her).

IT WAS TERRIBLE

So I did the rest of the colouring whilst I tried to figure out some miracle to salvage her skin (and her friend's, because obviously I coloured her in purple too even though I could see it was going terrible on the first girl, for some reason).
But it turns out acrylic markers were my saviour!
But sadly they can't really be blended and alcohol markers don't work over the top of them, so their skin is all one shade.

But I actually don't hate it!

So yes.
I've been colouring.
I am very grown up

I also got struck with another zap of motivation to get on with making my long overdue 2D Vtuber!

I've had it in my head for ages, but when it comes to putting pen to paper ipad, I just can't see it, if that makes sense?
I've drawn the same outfit so many times but it's just not what I'm visualising and I can't explain it xD
(I also constantly worry "oh no what if it's too similar to another vtuber" which really doesn't help)

But yeah, suddenly I had a little more of an image in my head so every evening recently has been drawing bits of it (not nearly as many layers as it should have though, as procreate is very stingy and I don't have the patience to transfer between that and my pc, back and forth, more than a few times in one sitting >_____> ) but I'm hopeful that it will be ok to rig.
I've never used live2d before so I am kacking it. KACKING.

But I actually am quite hopeful that my vtuber will be ready by the end of the month.
Which hopefully means I'll be streaming by then too (at least on Tuesdays, as that's when Twirly and I collab with Phasmophobia >_> )

I would spam with pictures of what I've put together so far but apparently people like a "grand reveal" when it comes to new models (even though she's probably going to be quite underwhelming as my brain REFUSES TO VISUALISE so the design is pretty basic >___> )

But oh welll!

... That's all I have to say, really.
Wow I really am bad at ending these things

Hmm..
...
